====== Healing Rates and Capabilities While Wounded ====== The time needed to heal is based on the Damage Total (DT). This time, given in weeks, is found on the following table. ^ Healing Time in Weeks ^^ ^ DT ^ Time ^ | 1 | 1 | | 2 | 2 | | 3-4 | 3 | | 4- 8 | 4 | | 9-16 | 5 | | 17-30 | 6 | | 31- 60 | 7 | | 61-120 | 8 | | 121-240 | 9 | | 241- 480 | 10 | | 481- 960 | 11 | | 961-1920 | 12 | | 1921- 3840 | 13 | | 3841-7680 | 14 | | 7681-15360 | 15 | **Disabling Injuries** require an additional 4 weeks to heal. A wounded character's physical capabilities are reduced by a **penalty** to his Combat Speed (CS), Weapon Actions (WA), and Shield Actions (SA). For each week of healing that remains, .5 is subtracted from his CS, WA, and SA values. **Example**: Derek has a Damage Total (DT) = 18. It will take him 6 weeks to heal. In the first week his CS, WA, and SA values are each lowered by 6 x .5 = 3. After 4 weeks he has 2 more weeks remaining before his injuries are healed and the penalty to his CS, WA, and SA would be 2 x.5 = 1. Healing Rates and Capabilities While Wounded [R-FRP4-8.1.7.5]
