A Dodge may be used to avoid blows. During the phase a character Dodges, he cannot perform any other combat actions. It gives a Parry on Table (4D) against all blows thrown at the character during the Dodge. A Dodge cannot be initiated to avoid a blow which is not seen; however, a Dodge started to avoid a blow from inside the Field Of Attack will affect all incoming attacks. There may be times when an opponent runs by another at a high speed bringing him into weapon range and then out of range by the end of the movement. As they pass, each has the choice of taking one blow at the other. These Passing Blows should be resolved prior to the Attack Resolution phase of combat. Note that these blows are not free.
